Tanzania

Whether you want glorious white sand beaches, unique cultural offerings, epic hiking or world class safaris, Tanzania has it all.

This Eest Africa gem is one of the most popular places to visit across the continent, given that its home to both the world famous Serengeti National Park and the roof of Africa – Mount Kilimanjaro.

For those on a short time, starting in the town of Arusha, to head up Kilimanjaro and then out to the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, is a great way to go.

Tick the Big 5 off your list and summit the highest mountain in Africa and you’ll be well on your way to seeing the best of Tanzania!

After this, head to Dar Es Salaam for a night, before sailing out to the island of Zanzibar to explore UNESCO-listed capital Stone Town, Swahili coast culture, amazing beaches and some great snorkelling opps.

Don’t miss the kitesurfing hotspot of Paje in the east or the alluring charm of Nungwi in the north.

With Kenya and Uganda close by, it’s easy to combine a trip to Tanzania with exploring more of east Africa too; otherwise, enjoy staying put in Tanzania and taking the time to soak up this truly magical land to the fullest!
