One of my top 5 favourite countries in the world, Sri Lanka is a shining jewel!

And not just in my eyes, I’d like to point out!

Indeed I’m yet to meet a person that didn’t have an amazing time travelling in this country and on whom the charm of this south Asian island wasn’t impressed.

Because Sri Lanka is charming in just about every way!

From the amazing hospitality of the people to the delicious food, the authenticity of the local culture to the historical attractions, not to mention the diversity of the landscape, I dare you to try and find something not utterly beguiling about Sri Lanka.

And that’s without even touching on the amazing coastline, the incredible wildlife (did you know you can safari here?), the beautiful highlands and the active adventures you can sample across this epic island too!

From iconic train rides to surfing, kitesurfing, temple-hopping, tea tasting, elephant-spotting, festival going and hiking, the list goes on and on, making Sri Lanka the absolute complete package in my eyes.

So if you want to enjoy a slice of, well just about everything, then Sri Lanka has to be on your list.

Perfect for a 10 day to 3 month trip, this island is not only jam-packed with amazing things to see and do, but it’s wonderfully affordable too.
