A truly fascinating country, Israel is like nowhere else.

Highly developed and pretty expensive, there’s lots of things that put this nation in a similar travel bracket to western Europe.

But of course, the culture and history here sets it well apart.

Totally unique, no matter what you think of the politics and the background of Israel, learning more about it from an on-the-ground experience is certainly worthwhile.

From the fascinating and complex city of Jerusalem to the buzzing beachside coastal city of Tel Aviv, not the mention the float-worthy Dead Sea, beachy Haifa and the dive-friendly Eilat in between, there’s a heck of a lot to do in this country.

A visit to the West Bank, including the city of Jerusalem is also a must, and then, of course, you need to eat your weight in amazing Israeli food!
